Welcome...

MentalWorks.com is a site dedicated to sharing some
of the art and design I have created over the past several years.

I am currently a Graphic Design Student at the University

of Akron. Design is an art form that truly speaks to me and has

helped me find a niche in the world. Along side design, I also

have a passion for photography and sculpture.

Whether I am creating websites, printwork, illustrations,
or Corporate IDs my aim is to create design that is clear and
appealing. I love working with people and coming up with ideas
that amaze and inspire. I feel design is an art form that is so
diverse that the only limit is your imagination. It touches our
lives everyday whether we recognize it or not, nothing can
compare with the feeling that comes from well created design.

Designers have many tools at their disposal and I try to learn as much software as possible. Currently, I create graphics in
Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop, and a little Flash. I perform layouts in both Quark and InDesign. Dreamweaver
is my main web design platform, but I am versed in (X)HTML code and CSS style sheets so I can use most of what comes
my way. I also incorporate javascipt at times but don't write it myself.
